The data consist of My University in 2025: Writing Competition 2014-2015 texts. The target group for the writing competition was students, personnel, and alumni of University of Tampere. The texts varied in style and length; some were fictional, while others contained concrete development ideas. Most of the archived texts were written in Finnish. Two texts were written in English and one text contained both Finnish and English.

The data do not contain background information about the writers.

The dataset is only available in Finnish.

Finnish Social Science Data Archive 39 texts in PDF/A format After the writing competition, the authors were asked for their permission for using the texts for research purposes. Of the 50 authors, 39 gave their consent. The dataset is (C) available only for research including master's theses. The data and its creators shall be cited in all publications and presentations for which the data have been used. The bibliographic citation may be in the form suggested by the archive or in the form required by the publication. Notify FSD of all publications where you have used the data by sending the citation information to user-services.fsd@tuni.fi. The original data creators and the archive bear no responsibility for any results or interpretations arising from the reuse of the data.
