Abstract

The data are based on the marriage survey conducted by the weekly supplement Nyt of the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. The respondents were recently married persons, and questions covered their pre-marriage relationship and expectations of marriage.

The dataset is only available in Finnish.

Separate letters from readers and responses given on paper by readers are not included in the data. As the survey was freely available online, there was no possibility of controlling who responded.
