Abstract

The survey charted various aspects in the lives of the unemployed in Oulu. The archived material consists of group discussions conducted in autumn 1996. Topics included, for example, everyday life, spending, time allocation, social relationships, and mental well-being. Altogether 32 respondents participated in the group discussions.

The dataset is only available in Finnish.

Completeness of Data and Restrictions

The interviews were transcribed verbatim into digital format during the research project. The interviews were anonymised during archiving; names of the participants and other persons were changed and other identifiers were coarsened or removed.
