Abstract
The survey charted Finnish people's views on issues related to health and well-being in their municipalities of residence. The series of 15 questions was based on a model on health-defining background information. Examples of a question pattern: Is your municipality of residence a pleasant place to live? Does my municipality of residence promote the healthiness of the environment? Is there help available for people with alcohol problems?
Background variables included the respondent's gender, age group, occupational group, employment status, and household composition.
