Abstract
This dataset is produced for study, research, and methodology teaching purposes, and it contains some of the texts submitted for a writing contest on the everyday experiences of poverty, organised in 2006 (for the whole data, see FSD2413). The writings were numerous in form, including autobiographical texts, fiction, poetry and childhood stories. The main themes of all the texts were coping with daily life, such as paying the rent, having enough money for food, and paying the bills. Many texts also criticised the Finnish welfare system.
The dataset is only available in Finnish.
