Abstract
The data consist of 121 interviews of young people attending art-related projects organised all over Finland during 2008-2010. The projects were part of the nationwide youth arts programme "Myrsky" (Storm) financed by the Finnish Cultural Foundation, targeted at young people aged 13-17. The aim was to spread and establish new types of arts activities for young people.
The youth participating in the project were interviewed either individually or in groups. The main themes were experiences of and views on the project they had participated in and the role of young people in the project. Issues emerging in the course of the interviews were taken up even if not in the original interview guide.
See FSD2638 for data collected on the youth arts programme through quantitative surveys.
The dataset is only available in Finnish.
