Abstract
This dataset consists of responses to the voting advice application of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) by Finnish candidates in the 2014 European Parliament election.
The candidates' opinions were charted with 30 attitudinal statements which they evaluated on a likert scale. The statements concerned, for instance, attitude toward EU, workers immigrating from other EU countries, the influence of business life in the EU, illegal immigration, free movement, limitations and costs to businesses caused by the EU, and costs of EU membership.
Background variables included name, party, age, occupation, education, employer, campaign budget, and the primary source of campaign funding.
