Abstract
The data consist of texts written by disabled people about what their life was and had been like as a disabled person in Finland. Collection of data was conducted as part of a research project (2012-2015) funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation charting the lives of disabled people in Finland.
The participants wrote about, for instance, what kind of disability they had, how the disability affected their daily life, what their childhood they had been like, and which problems they had faced in life. The participants could write their text in the form and perspective of their choosing.
The dataset is only available in Finnish.
