Abstract
The dataset consists of written responses by Finnish students of Economics and Computer Science at the University of Tampere to open-ended questions concerning their well-being.
The students were asked to answer eight questions regarding well-being, motivation, strengths, good and bad moments in studies, teaching and guidance counselling, university community, maintaining balance between studies and life, and social relationships.
Background information included age (categorised), gender, degree programme, and year of studies (categorised). The dataset is only available in Finnish.

Completeness of Data and Restrictions
To prevent identification of individuals, identifiers were removed from the data regarding respondents and third persons (e.g. names). Age and year of studies were categorised, information on stage of studies was removed, and degree programme was coarsened to only include Economics and Computer Science (one respondent's degree programme information was removed).
Two responses for which archiving permission was not received are not included in the archived data.
