Abstract

The data consists of writings that explore intergenerational attitudes and thoughts related to different generations.

In the writing instructions, respondents were asked to share their observations and experiences regarding how people of different ages relate to one another and how these attitudes have changed over time. The supporting questions addressed, for example, whether the differences between generations have increased or decreased, and what might explain potential tensions between generations. Respondents were also asked to describe differences in language use, manners, and preferences between generations, and to reflect on how their own position has changed in relation to these aspects. The writings include both personal experiences and broader societal reflections on intergenerational relations.

Background information includes the respondent's gender, year of birth, occupation, and place of residence.
