Abstract
Views and Use of Reformed Social and Health Services 2015 survey studied the attitudes of people living in Finland towards health and social services. The aim of the study was to gather information about users of health and social services and their experiences with the said services. The survey charted the respondents' trust in social and health services, customer-orientated approach of the services, information about health and social services on the Internet, experiences with health services, the respondent's health, occupational health care, use of social services, and the costs of health and social services.
The respondents were first asked to evaluate their trust in health and social services with statements such as "In general, health services in Finland function well" and "I believe that I will receive urgent care in case of a sudden, serious illness". The respondents were also asked how important, in their opinion, certain objectives in the upcoming Finnish social and health care reform were. Next, the respondents were asked about their opportunities to influence health and social services, and their opinions on customer oriented approach of the services. This was followed by questions about health and social services on the Internet.
The respondents were asked about their use of medical services within the past 12 months and their experiences with the services provided. The availability and the functionality of the care were studied. This was followed by questions about the person's health. The questions dealt with long-term illness, regular medication, and depression. In the next part, the respondents were asked about their occupational health care. This was followed by questions charting the respondent's last visit to a doctor.
Next, the respondents' use and experiences with social services in the last 12 months were charted. Experiences regarding the price, availability and sufficiency of the services were studied as well as experiences with social service staff and possible difficulties of getting help. In the last part of the survey, the respondents' views on funding and costs of health and social services were studied.
The background variables included the respondent's age, gender, marital status, household composition, employment status, type of municipality, type of accommodation, and several regional variables.

Weighting
The data contains two weight variables, bv10 and bv11. The results were weighted to represent the whole population aged 18-79. Effects of non-response were adjusted for by calibrating the weights in a way that produced the correct population distributions in terms of region, statistical grouping of municapilities, gender, and age (divided into age groups) (bv10). The data also contain sample weights that do not expand the distributions to correspond to the population (bv11).
