Abstract

The data consists of interviews with students at the Tampere University on the meaning of life. The students represented all fields of study in the Faculty of Education and Culture, including the doctoral programme. The data was originally collected for a Master's thesis as part of a larger Civic Purpose research project.

Interviewees were asked about their interests, their vision of a perfect world and the meaning of life, among other things. In addition, they were asked about the things they felt were most important in their lives, their well-being, their university studies and their dreams for the future.

Background information includes the age group of the interviewee, the type of studies, the stage of studies and information about working while studying. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD.
