Abstract

The data consists of writings in which elementary school teachers and special education teachers describe situations of mental or physical violence they have encountered in their work, as well as any support they may have received from their superiors after the incident. The data was originally collected for a master's thesis that examined the experiences of elementary school teachers regarding the support they received from their superiors in situations involving violence. The original target group for the collection was special education teachers in primary schools, but as the collection was in progress, the target group was expanded in order to obtain a sufficient number of writings. As a result, writings were ultimately collected from all primary school teachers.

Background information was asked about gender, age group, education, and work experience in years.
