This section presents four moral problems and solutions. The characters are fictional, but the situations are possible. By answering the questions and statements below the problems, you can tell us what you think about the decisions taken. Read the problems and solutions one by one and, immediately after reading them, tick the options that best reflect your own opinion. It's all about how you judge the decisions made. So don't think for too long, as the first answer that comes to mind is often the best reflection of your own attitude. Basic services and elderly care. Emma is 84 years old and lives in supported living. She would like to move to a retirement home because she is afraid to live alone due to dizziness. Emma has no relatives or friends in her home town. The city has to save money on basic services and therefore it is not possible to place Emma in a home for the elderly. The manager of the supported living resolves the situation by asking the doctor to prescribe a more effective sedative for Emma.

Moral dilemma: Basic services and elderly care. The manager's decision: The manager must have made their decision in order to preserve the peace of working at the nursing home
