This section presents four moral problems and solutions. The characters are fictional, but the situations are possible. By answering the questions and statements below the problems, you can tell us what you think about the decisions taken. Read the problems and solutions one by one and, immediately after reading them, tick the options that best reflect your own opinion. It's all about how you judge the decisions made. So don't think for too long, as the first answer that comes to mind is often the best reflection of your own attitude. Stealing and China phenomenon. A factory in a remote location closes down and moves production to China. Like many others, Pekka, 53, becomes unemployed after working in this factory for his entire working life. There is no hope of finding a new job in his home town. Pekka cannot move elsewhere because he has a sick wife and a grown-up, disabled daughter to look after. When the factory closes, Pekka mistakenly receives EUR50,000 of the company's cash without anyone noticing the mistake. Pekka does not tell anyone, but decides to keep the money and use it to support his family as an extension to his unemployment benefit.
