A basic income scheme is a social security system in which allcitizens are paid a monthly income unconditionally to guarantee a minimum standard of living. It replaces many social benefits. The amount of basic income does not decrease as income from other sources increases. As income increases, the benefit derived from basic income is recovered through taxation. Would you be against or in favour of this kind of scheme?
