Aila experiences reported in FSD Bulletin
The Finnish Social Science Data Archive created the Data Service Portal Aila in-house with funding from the Academy of Finland. Building the portal was an effort which required some input from nearly all FSD staff members. FSD Bulletin reports the experiences of both the creators and users of the service.
Issue 39 contains an introduction to the Aila service and an article on the challenges of producing the English version of the user interface. Issue 40 reports on the aims of the new service and its building process, and on some first user experiences.
