The first Aila Seminar was a success

The Data Archive organised its first-ever seminar on Aila Data Service and data reuse in Tampere on 17 September. The seminar, which was open for all, attracted nearly 60 people interested in hearing about the reuse opportunities offered by Aila.

At the end of the seminar, the Archive presented Research Director Janne Kivivuori from the Institute of Criminology and Legal Policy with the FSD Data Management Award. Kivivuori received the Award in recognition of his work on the Juvenile Delinquency data series.

In the future, the intention is to arrange Aila Seminars annually.
