The data consist of the interviews of 11 physicians and 2 nurses conducted in 2006. The interviews charted the physicians' and nurses' attitudes towards temporary agency work in health care and their own status and activity. The body of the interview included 12 questions, out of which one was aimed only at physicians and another only at nurses. The interview topics focused on the dimensions of temporary agency work in health care that were perceived as significant in the questionnaire part of the same survey (see FSD2516). The topics covered reasons for selecting temporary agency work, differences between the public sector and a temporary agency as employers, functioning of the work community, experiences of physical and psychological violence, and relationship between work and leisure. The interviewed temporary agency workers were volunteers out of the health care professionals working for private service providers who had participated in the questionnaire part of the same survey.
