Sisällön kuvaus
The study surveyed how public employment and business services contributed to unemployed people finding part-time or full-time employment in Finland. This survey examined the recruiting practices of different organisations regarding part-time and temporary employment as well as how the organisations had utilised public employment and business services when recruiting new employees. FSD holdings contain two related datasets: FSD3686 Public Employment and Business Services in Finland: Survey for Job Seekers 2021 and FSD3688 Public Employment and Business Services in Finland: Survey for Experts in TE Offices and Local Government 2021.
The survey consisted mainly of open-ended questions. The respondents were asked how many of their organisation's employees had part-time or temporary contracts and what public employment and business services they had utilised when recruiting part-time or temporary employees (e.g. recruitment events, pay subsidies). Questions also surveyed the organisation's experiences of recruiting partially disabled employees and immigrants. Views on the obligation to offer extra work to part-time employees before hiring a new employee were also charted.
Background variables included the sector of the respondent's organisation, the respondent's position within the organisation, and number of employees in the organisation.
